Privacy Policy

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE] · Data controller: [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [ADDRESS]

Template for review. As an EU-based business you fall under the GDPR. Have a lawyer or DPO confirm your lawful bases, your handling of minors' data, your processor list, international transfers, and your cookie/tracking consent approach before publishing.

1. What we collect

When you apply or contact us we may collect: your name, date of birth or age, email, WhatsApp/phone number, country and city, playing position, current club and level, highlight footage links, your written answers, and — where you are under 18 — a parent or guardian's name, email and number. We also collect basic technical and usage data (device, pages viewed) and advertising/analytics identifiers via cookies and pixels.

2. Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use your data to assess your application, contact you, deliver our services, and improve and market them. Our lawful bases (GDPR Art. 6) include performance of a contract or steps prior to one, your consent (e.g. for marketing messages and non-essential cookies), and our legitimate interests in running and growing the service.

3. Minors

Where a player is under 18, we rely on parental/guardian involvement and consent. A parent or guardian's details are collected so they can be kept informed and involved. If you believe we hold a minor's data without proper consent, contact us and we will address it.

4. Marketing messages

If you opt in, we may contact you by email, SMS, WhatsApp, and phone about your application and our services. You can opt out at any time (e.g. reply STOP to texts, or use the unsubscribe link in emails).

5. Who we share it with

We share data with service providers who help us operate — for example email/SMS platforms (e.g. Klaviyo), scheduling (e.g. Calendly), forms, payment providers (e.g. Whop), CRM, and advertising/analytics platforms (e.g. Meta). We do not sell your personal data. We may share relevant information with clubs or contacts only where appropriate to pursue an opportunity for you.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and pixels (including the Meta Pixel) for analytics and advertising. Where required, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. International transfers

Some providers are outside your country. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the providers' standard contractual clauses).

8. Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.

9. Your rights

Subject to law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and request portability. To exercise any right, contact us below. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
